Believe it or not, this website is run on a home server! The home server specs are as follows:

• Fedora Core 8 (Linux server owns!)
• Wordpress 2.33 (Rocks my world )
• PHP 5
• MySql 5
• Apache 2.2
• Comcast 6Mbp/384Kbp connection
• BIND 9/ Secondary Nameserver Courtest of UnlimitedNet (see banner above)

Hardware is as follows:

• Pentium IV 1.8Ghz Processor
• 256 MB PC133 RAM
• 20GB Hard Drive; 19GB “/”, 1GB SWAP
• Headless Server w/o mouse/keyboard
• 10/100 MBps Ethernet connection direct to router
• CD-ROM Drive
• No Floppy Drive

All of the knowlege required to run this is from painstaking hours upon hours of research and dedication. And I am happy to say that ALL of it has paid off in one way or another! I am looking into advertising with Google and other ad companies to see if I could earn some money for a dedicated server. Eventually, the load will be too much for my internet connection with the all the pictures I have. So I am looking into it.
